We’ve released a podcast to accompany the RBC Handbook we developed for the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kenya, and it’s worth a listen if you’re a Dutch business or organisation operating in the country.
The episode walks through why the handbook was developed and how it was put together, before moving into the substance of what it covers. That includes what the Kenyan legal framework expects from businesses when it comes to responsible business conduct, international standards such as the UN Guiding Principles, and Kenya’s National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. It also looks at sector-specific risks and the organisations that may be relevant depending on where your business operates.
The second half of the episode focuses on the practical side: the checklists, tools and templates built into the handbook, and the resources and support available from the Embassy for businesses looking to take action on RBC.
